Assistance for individuals who are affected by change following reorganisation or downsizing |
|
|
| |
Some people find change invigorating and welcome a new environment, manager, department or role. Others find it unwelcome, worrying and stressful. They |
 |
-
feel out of place
-
believe themselves to be undervalued;
-
are unable to make an impact in the workplace;
-
are unhappy they are no longer doing the work for which they joined the company originally.

As a consequence, performance, commitment, confidence and attitude to work can be adversely affected.
BCC have many years' experience of assisting individuals to handle new situations and organisational structures, exploring opportunities and limitations and specific areas which may be causing actual or perceived problems.
By assessing skills, strengths, work-based style, values, motivators and goals with an impartial third party, employees develop a clearly defined ‘ideal' job description, which is compared with the new role and structure for both common and out-of-line elements. This allows areas of support and development, which may include training or shadowing, to be instigated to ensure the re-engagement of a valued employee.
